Using Amero offers a gently sweet experience. Using Campari offers a more boisterous, bittersweet experience. We go with Campari but each to their own. Simon rarely, if ever, specifies a recommended Italian bittersweet aperitivo. The range is wide so happy experimenting!

Great thing. Increased volume by 1/3, used 60 Jose Cuervo, 20 Martini Fiero (kinda bittersweet), 20 lime juice, 20 homemade orgeat.

Great drink, but just a bit too sweet and creamy - maybe I overpoured the Orgeat. I will try again, with just 1/4 oz Orgeat and mix in a 1/2 oz of Mezcal.

I took Nardini Bitter in place of Aperol and the excellent orgeat by Maisonette Meneau. Wow, that was delicious in a herbal way.

Great summer cocktail! I cut the orgeat in half to dry it out a bit.

This was great and I didn't have Tagine seasoning. What is that? My wife didn't like it but admitted "it's not bland".
