As is our wont with long drinks, we dialled back the bubbly, in this case the tonic to 60ml. For us, a lot of bubbly and ice makes for too much dilution as one approaches the lower half of the cocktail.

Looking for a good aperitif for World Calvados Day and found this. Worked perfectly with cheese and vegetable appetizers. The Scotch Whisky is very forward, but the other flavours enhance everything perfectly.

Tasty little combo, will have to try the ginger ale option next. I'm also hoping that Bob will add a celery bitter's to his range which would take this to a 5+ (and be perfect for all the Bloody iterations and a Loop Tonic!). If you have any influence Mr Difford, please persuade him..

Very interesting. Unusal combination, but it works very well: spicy and sophistcated. Great alternative to a G/T!
