I felt this was a bit too sweet, but after I added a pinch of citric acid it was fantastic. Maybe they liked their cocktails sweeter back then? Used a homemade kümmel.

Maybe our grapefruit are especially bitter, so I added a good barspoon of Luxardo cherry syrup and reduced the Luxardo a tiny bit.

Delicious…. I think I’ll have another. I would say this is a 3 to 4 on the sweetness scale
