The ingredients blend together nicely. I used a rosemary clove syrup and poitin from local (Ontario, Canada) producers. Bit sweeter than my bitter palate normally likes, but quite smooth and a nice alcoholic kick
This is a seriously good cocktail, with notes of chocolate emerging from the poitin. Alas, I fear I must not show it to my Irish neighbor who gave me the Poitin. I can hear her voice “Jayzus, just pour the poitin into a shot glass and knock it back already”.
I can’t believe the official units of alcohol though - surely a miscalculation!
