Nice orange scent, though first sip was underwhelming this one grew on me - subtle, slightly sweet with increasing orange flavour (used Ms Betters foamer substitute).

This is a delicious brunch drink - great level of sour and sweet, with fresh orange
This is a great cocktail!
Maybe my (new) favourite thing, lol. The components are all identifiable in the final product, but contribute to each other nicely.
First time I did not have chinato so used regular (Guerra) sweet vermouth, and may just prefer that version - bit more fruity, in a good way.
Love this shaken as a quick and easy (and delicious) alternative to an espresso martini. I used Beirao as it was what we had, and it turned out great (may try Strega next time).
Cheers to Spring! Nice and refreshing. The smokiness is growing on me, though tempted to up the rhubarbe liqueur and lemon juice a little next time … (unfortunately did not have rhubarb ribbon available)
Bit sweet for our taste but benefitted from a couple dashes of orange bitters
Think the local gin I used is a bit harsh, so up front to begin where I expected more of a flavour hit. But every sip tastes a bit better (and now it seems to have gone down too fast). Nice level of orange - partner “likes this one” and we will try it again.
Very nice, and easy way to make an old fashioned. Tried also with aged rum (which was sweeter, so less syrup next time).
Beautifully hued drink for the Holidays.
Had to substitute Cynar for the Barolo Chinato, and liked the blending of flavour with cherry forward. We ended up sipping for a while, and this cocktail tasted great as it ‘warmed’ up a bit (less chilled). Love the substantial size as well ? (filled our coupes with Cheer-re!)
Will definitely be making this again.
We like our drinks on the less sweet side - used 1:1 sugar syrup and about 1/2 the allocation. Was quite nice, and great for having after rich meal.
Was intrigued by the list of ingredients, so had to try this cocktail. Blended nicely - like a new amaro (thinned out a bit with extra alcohol ??)
The ingredients blend together nicely. I used a rosemary clove syrup and poitin from local (Ontario, Canada) producers. Bit sweeter than my bitter palate normally likes, but quite smooth and a nice alcoholic kick
This is definitely a keeper. Used Tobermory gin, delicious - nicely tart lemon.
Delicious and tart. I’m not good at actually measuring the sugar syrup, and usually err on the short side. This cocktail still went down maybe a little too easily on a Friday after work.
“Add it to the rotation” says my better-half
Did not have an orange, so tried 3 dashes of orange bitters. Quite liked it, but think is preferable without the salt (and with an orange twist).
Delicious! Chose this as our Guy Fawkes cocktail. Very smooth, not too boozy tasting. Was a great aperitif on its own. (Barely fit in our coupe glasses).

Very tasty, smooth, with nice cherry flavour - maybe a bit sweet (but that may be because I didn’t read the ‘after dinner’ part). Will have to try again with 1 part brandy.
