Found this significantly better with fiorente elderflower than st Germain. Less overly sweet, more herbal and nuanced. Be interesting to try a variation with italicus.
Hmm... well, Punt e Mes is just too fuerte in this, burying the St Germain a good bit, though it does surface real late in the aftertaste... a few sips in and the flavors are still melding, but some lovely interplay is developing... A Martinez-y drink with a shade of elderflower? - yeah, I'll be back...
Superbly balanced, don't be shy with the lemon zest and peach bitters. This one only got better as it warmed. I used Tanqueray Export Strength, St Germain, Cocchi Storico, and Fee Brothers Peach Bitters. Will definitely be making this again.
