I bought a bottle of Luxardo's herbal green liqueur to try out and this is the first cocktail I've made with it. I enjoyed it! A pleasant martini that I found utterly balanced. I did use an extra dry vermouth, but I don't think that harmed the herbal melody the gin and liqueur created. Also, a shoutout to that little dash of orange bitters; it pulled its weight in holding it all together. Instant favorite.

Fantastic. Prefer a long stir with wet ice over adding chilled water.

Perfection. No notes

I'm pretty sure I've made this before without the water and it was just a bit too much, but that extra splash of dilution really rounds everything out quite nicely!

A bit too much Chartreuse for me. It’s really a cocktail rather than a Martini…

Had this again and it was just a wonderful as before. The Chartreuse adds wonderful herbal hints along with the gin. Highly recommend.

I really like the subtle chartreuse in this. It can overwhelm drinks for me but this is about perfect.

My mix was 1.5/.5/.5 (Like green chartreuse and dry vermouth) with .3 water. Next time I’ll skip the water as the ice melts enough. A very nice drink for a “puritan”.

I love Chartreuse. When tasted it neat, it has you think "Naah, flavours are too strong, it will spoil any cocktail". But then, once mixed, it becomes extremely gentle. I definitely recommend this "improved" Martini recipe.

Certainly agree with Mr. Hinojos. This got even better as it warmed up a bit.

The Green Chartreuse sends this over the top. Great cocktail.
