Second time trying we reduced the Grand Marnier. Uppped the vodka a little as it was much drier. Great.

Decided to try this with Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish gin instead of vodka and couldn't be more pleased. Orange comes through and the herbal notes linger.

A friend of mine gave me a bottle of Domain de Canton French ginger liqueur. I tried this recipe using that instead of Grand Marnier. Highly recommended.

As per the above recipe other than i also put three Perello Gordal Picante olives into it as the garnish, wonderful

Can we please start to collectively shun anyone using olives that aren't the Perello kind? So unnecessary. There need to be some serious social consequences.

Didn’t really click for me, but I can see the appeal to others. Maybe different proportions it would be something I’d desire, or maybe gin based instead of vodka based.

Watching the Golden State Warriors in the 2022 NBA playoffs quaffing this haha. This is really sursprising, thought it would be too sweet but it's perfect! If I have enough of them and I will forget we let Chris Chiozza play this year. California LOVE!

Botanicals and orange and strong!

Whoa! Was not expecting these flavors, but I did use the bison grass vodka, so the profile was fortunately skewed... Happy accident, though... One of the more intriguing stirred cocktails I've tried (this week). Ooh, baby, make this one again! (9 Oct 2021, 10:50a)

This was a surprise. I thought it would be sweet, but there is just a touch of sweetness. Well balanced flavours with a hint of orange.
