Used Monin rose syrup and juice from 1 lime, about 15 mls. The rose comes through gently. This is a summer afternoon/early evening drink. Enjoyed it very much.

I eschewed the rose water and simple syrup in favor of some Dalmatian rose hip preserves I'd bought on impulse, but never really used... Plantation 3 stars and Luxardo Triplum... Turned out a lovely drink with a pink hue perhaps reminiscent of Matthew's result... Question now is what else I can make with the rose hip spread that's as palatable.

Oops, forgot... I used a tablespoon (15 ml) of the rose hip spread. Probably would've benefited from 2.5-5 ml of rich simple... But even at that does of spread, I did taste the rose, though it's far from as concentratingly intense as said water... I do have rose water. I'm tempted to have another go at this with the prescribed ingredients.

Very good cocktail. Only my rosewater, although produced in Iran seems to be much weeker, so I needed to double the amount.

Very enjoyable and refreshing.
Since this is a cocktail using rum, we use Clement Creole Shrub instead of Triple Sec.
Found the rose flavour to be subtle at first, and then more noticeable once the cocktail rested.

Light and fresh summer afternoon / evening cocktail. Hint of rose at the end, which you must like. Unusual.

Just made this with orange blossom water as I didn't have rose water and it sure was good.

I liked this one. Basically a Rum Margarita as was described. Nicely balanced with a hint of Rose water at the end. Will definitely be making these during the summer months.

Not having rose water I swapped the cane sugar syrup out and used the rose syrup that I'd purchased for the Rosalia Margarita recipe. A tasty little number with a delicate pink hue.

Will make Sharon, but will use 1/2-3/4oz of lime juice instead of a full ounce, as it overpowers the rose water.
