I liked it, having surprisingly subtle flavours. I used Maker’s Mark which was tempered by the Chartreuse and dry martini. The Angostura Bitters were also muted. Not what I expected.

What is the history of this cocktail? It's also listed in Cocktails #7 with no origin.

I’ve added what little I know of this cocktails story above. I’m also going to try again with green and yellow chartreuse.

Needs a better name. I mean, really? Nothing more poetic, perhaps?

Ditto Doug and John. Made mine with Liquore Strega which worked well.

This is unbelievable. Of all the Manhattans we have tried, this is the best for our tastes. The Chartreuse add a wonderful herbal hint and falvour. It all works perfectly together. Going on my favorites. Thank you so much.
