Was thinking about an Aperol Spritz for the summer solstice on a warm Oregon afternoon, but saw this in the Cocktail of the Day listing. Compromised by adding a few cubes of freezer ice to compensate for not chilling the Campari and GM - it was quite refreshing and still a very nice strong drink. My better half liked it better than an Aperol Spritz, but might have been the ABV talking…

My prosecco came from the fridge but next time perhaps I'll pre chill the liqueurs.

You make a good point. I have added a not after each ingredient to chill.

Delicious but a little sweet for my tastes. Used more like 4 oz sparkling wine to suit my palette

Found the Grand Marnier to be lost in the drink. Great aperitif. May experiment with more Grand Marnier or some Cognac.

Agreed! I've cut back the bitter liqueur by a third and replaced brut champagne with prosecco to add a touch of richness. Now better balanced with Grand Marnier allowed to shine.
