Seems like everyone agrees this one is very dry. I do like it, but perhaps subbing for reposado and using a little more grenadine or just sugar might be more my taste. Or you could go the other way and use more lime to make it tarter?

I also can't taste any of the cassis, perhaps upping that a little tiny bit could also help the sweetness matter.

I made this using Goslings peach ginger beer and replaced the lime juice with lemon juice. Loved it a lot, but I would definitely skip the sugar, Goslings is too sweet to add sugar to.

Honestly I avoid adding sugar to most mules/bucks anyway, the only ginger beer I've had that isn't on its own sweet enough to carry these drinks is the sugar free Goslings and I GUESS Fever Tree but even for that one I would use less sugar.

Big fan, but I do think it's a bit too sweet as is, even for me and I like sweet drinks. I think halving the agave might be all I need but I'll try the other proportions in these comments some time.

Made this with Probitas (Veritas in the UK I believe). Super good, somehow tasted like pineapple.

I agree with John, a good pineapple rum would go crazy here. Kinda tempting me even more to get the Plantation Pineapple I saw here.

Okay this is one of my new favorites! I did a basterdize version- only had bottle pink grapefruit juice, agave syrup instead of simple and was to lazy to make the saline since it was the end of a busy night so I salted the rim. oh and we don't do blended drinks so I shook the shit out of it! Wow cant wait to try the fresh squeezed version and I think this one is going on the menu!!

I've been pretty into grapefruit cocktails lately but grapefruits are hard to come by here, so all of mine have been bottled juice.

I've really been wanting to pick up some actual grapefruits to try some of my faves (namely this and a Cantaritos) lol

This one was pleasant, but then again I just really like grapefruit and/or salty cocktails. I originally skipped the syrup since I feel like when the amount is this small I prefer to leave it off but I tried adding it after a sip and it's very welcome here.

That said, I 100% will try this with Gin, this feels like it would go crazy with Tanqueray Ten

This has basically become my go to. And to think I used to say I disliked tequila smh (it does help that I got better quality tequila tho lol)

I agree with Brett that the salt overpowers a bit. Personally that's kind of a good thing, but that's cuz I like salty cocktails anyway

Not usually super into tequila, but I decided to bump up the measure as per John's comment and this surprised me, big fan! Just a tiny tad too sweet otherwise.
Don't have añejo at hand to give that float a try but it does sound interesting.

I used sweetened cranberry juice and skipped the syrup, was definitely the move. I like sweet cocktails but even then that would've been a bit too sweet I think.
