Blue curaçao liqueur, Oude genever, Passionfruit liqueur, Lemon juice, (+ 2 more)
Excellent drink from Sother Teagues "I'm just here for the dirnks"
As I don't usually have fresh Pomegranate juice to hand I subbed in 10ml of Pama Pomegranate liqueur... Delicious lighter and slightly fruity option to a Negroni
Just tried this one but substituted the Rose syrup with Lanique rose liqueur.... It works realy well but a touch of sweet could be added if neede
Excelent drink. I followed the recipie with the addition of 2 drops of saline and the resulting cocktail is delicious.. The colour is not as per the picture the port giving a loveley purple tinge to it. subline none the less
I've made these a few times and substituted the Rose syrup with Lanique (a Sweet roes liqueur). Also I generally prefer Don Julio over Patron so used the blanco and triple sec. With these changes this is an excellent drink. Today I received the bottle of Diffords saline solution I ordered and tried adding two drops.. wow. I have just finished reading David Arnold's "Liquid Intelegence" and whilst I have many times read of Simons passion for adding a drop or two until to day I hadn't realised. Wow
The drink tastse fabulouse and makes a perfect alternative to a Terrys chocolate orange but the picture is not quite right as the Baileys is cream based and malthough looks good the dehydrated orange may not be right with a milk chocolate drink. I tried it with a grate of Green and Blacks Maya Gold and it is perfect
Gin, Chartreuse Green, Rosso/sweet vermouth, Orange bitters
Gin, Red bitter liqueur, Lemon juice, Sugar syrup (2:1)
Oak aged vodka, Dry vermouth, Olive bitters
Amaro (e.g. Nonino), Lemon juice, Red bitter liqueur, Cynar 70 Proof
I've tried this with both martini bitter and campari and think campari has the edge. However Martini resirva rubino does improve it as doe Cynar 70.
Definitely for someone who loves amari
