Rosso/sweet vermouth, Blended light 3-5yo rum, Peach bitters
Had as an aperitif and it was perfect. Did find it a bit sweet for our tastes, so we added 3 drops of orange bitters (since the garnish was orange zest). Bitters lessened the sweetness. Both versions were wonderful.
Agreed. It's delicious, but I also find it a bit too sweet. Thanks for the tip!
Light white rum, Lime juice, Lingonberry sugar syrup
Yeah, pretty happy with that one. :)
White crème de cacao, Dry vermouth, Chocolate bitters, Vodka, Orange gin
Reposado tequila, Triple sec, Amaretto liqueur, Coffee liqueur, (+ 2 more)
Absolutely delicious! Used vanilla infused vodka, which worked very well. Will definitely be in my rotation going forward.
I switched the Jägermeister för Averna and the immortal words of Jon Lovitz: 'Smack my bottom and call me Judy!'. That was one fine cocktail.
Light white rum, Orange-red aperitivo, Orange juice, Caramel syrup, (+ 2 more)
My brother delievered a couple of bottles (green and yellow) Chartreuse yesterday, and since I've never had a Bijou before it's my birthday today I thought to myself "If not me, who? If not now, when?" Now, I obviously didn't exactly what to expect, but O-M-to the G. The result was something along the likes of a bitter, butterscotchy kind of a cocktail. Absolutely delicious. Maybe because I used an Old Tom gin (Hernö) and yellow Chartreuse..? Anyways, the result was absolutely amazing.
