Ingredients:
34 oz Grand Marnier or other cognac orange liqueur
34 oz Bénédictine D.O.M. liqueur
2 oz Earl Grey tea (cold)
× 1 1 serving
Read about cocktail measures and measuring

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.

How to make:

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish:

  1. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

The earl grey tannins balance the spice and orange in the liqueurs to make a harmonious aperitivo.

Strong orange flavors dominate, with a background of Benedictine herbs/spice, and the Earl Grey. I think the orange is excessive, and unbalances the cocktail.
