Glass:

Serve in a Martini glass

Ingredients:
12 fl oz Strucchi Dry Vermouth
2 12 fl oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
× 1 1 serving
Read about cocktail measures and measuring

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.
  2. Lemon zest twist and skewered chilled green olive.

How to make:

  1. Gently SHAKE vermouth with ice.
  2. STRAIN and discard vermouth to leave the ice in the shaker coated with vermouth.
  3. Add gin, SHAKE again with coated ice.
  4. STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish:

  1. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and discard.
  2. Garnish with skewered olive.

A well-diluted shaken Dry Martini. However, seems like a waste of good vermouth.

This drink's origin is unknown, but former U.S. President Richard Nixon is said to have preferred his Martini made this way.

if you shake vermouth and dry ice into slushie, it would taste so much better.
