Glass:

Serve in a Martini glass

Ingredients:
18 fresh Melon (Cantaloupe)
2 fl oz Light white rum (charcoal-filtered 1-4 years old)
12 fl oz Bols Green Melon Liqueur
12 fl oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
16 fl oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water, 65.0°Brix)
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of melon wedge or skewered melon balls.

How to make:

  1. CUT melon into 8 segments and deseed.
  2. Cut cubes of flesh from skin of one segment and MUDDLE in base of shaker.
  3. Add other ingredients, SHAKE with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish:

  1. Garnish with melon wedge on rim or skewered melon balls.

A classic Daiquiri with a touch of melon fruitiness.

Slightly confusing as there's 1/6 melon in the ingredients but 1/8 in the method. I don't suppose it matters too much though and this is a good recipe if you have some melon to use up - light and refreshing a good summer cocktail.
