Serve in a Shot glass

Ingredients:
12 oz Monin Grenadine Syrup
12 oz Giffard Menthe Pastille white crème de menthe

How to make:

  1. Select a Shot glass.
  2. Refrigerate ingredients.
  3. LAYER in chilled glass by carefully pouring ingredients in the order listed.

Easy to layer but hard to drink. Very sweet.

History:

Named after and inspired by the red and green running lights which respectively mark the 'Port' (left-hand) and 'Starboard' (right-hand) sides of a ship. The red light is called Port side because port wine is red. The original name for the opposite side was Larboard, but over the years was corrupted to Starboard.

  • 0.2 standard drinks
  • 10.91% alc./vol. (10.91° proof)
  • 3.3 grams of pure alcohol
