Tasty after-dinner drink, but could be an anytimer if you have a wet palate. I used a split of Chivas Regal 12 and Glenlivet 12, resulting in more fruitiness and maltiness.

Made this with Johnnie Walker Black, Benedictine, D.O.M., Heering Cherry, fresh blood orange, and fresh lemon. Tasty. Essentially Scotch mellowed out by mild honey, cherry, blood orange, and lemon. Very smooth. Not very smokey. Nice mouthfeel (I think the Benedictine and Heering are both adding some "body"?). Nice ruddy brown color. Maybe a good candidate for an "autumn" drink, given the color, honey, blood orange, and mild smoke?

Made mine with part Speyside, part Highland single malt and a splash of Islay. Luxardo's Sangue Morlacco's intense flavor works quite well here. Loved it.
