History:

Adapted from a recipe created in 2020 by Craig Eliason, a Professor of Art History at the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and a keen cocktail aficionado. Craig created this cocktail for the Society of Architectural Historians' 80th Anniversary Celebration. Fittingly, Craig used Amaro Lucano Anniversario edition.

Alcohol content:

  • 1.8 standard drinks
  • 27.85% alc./vol. (27.85° proof)
  • 25.1 grams of pure alcohol

A new favorite. I've used Ramazzotti and china china in lieu of the Lucano. Prefer the Ramazzotti but think there's room to play around.

Used Averna as the Amaro substitute. Delicious.

Inoffensive but unremarkable.
