Ingredients:
1 oz Straight rye whiskey (100 proof /50% alc./vol.)
1 oz Lucano amaro
12 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
12 oz Byrrh aperitif aromatised wine
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist expressed and then pegged to rim.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

History:

Adapted from a recipe created in 2020 by Craig Eliason, a Professor of Art History at the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and a keen cocktail aficionado. Craig created this cocktail for the Society of Architectural Historians' 80th Anniversary Celebration. Fittingly, Craig used Amaro Lucano Anniversario edition.

  • 28.27% alc./vol. (28.27° proof)
  • 25.4 grams of pure alcohol
