Ingredients:
1 12 oz Calvados / apple brandy / straight applejack
34 oz Amaro (e.g. Meletti)
1 oz Apple juice/apple cider (cloudy & unsweetened)
12 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
13 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
3 drop Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of dehydrated apple slice wheel.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into ice-filled glass (preferably over a large cube or chunk of block ice).

What a great drink, light, crisp, & bright. It goes down real fast. I served them without ice in Coupes just because, so there (I don't like big, icy drinks). Use a lighter floral Amaro if you don't have Meletti.
