Ingredients:
1 oz Gold rum (1-3 years old pot & column blend)
1 oz Red grape juice (e.g. Kedem or Welch's Purple Grape Juice)
12 oz Ginger liqueur
12 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist expressed and discharged. Adorn with skewered red grape..
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

History:

This recipe was adapted from one created in 2021 by Jason E. Clapham at the St. Edward's MCR in Oxford, England. Jason formulated it using an old bottling of the King's Ginger, but as this liqueur has since changed, he recommends Crabbie's Ginger Liqueur instead.
