Ingredients:
2 whole Green cardamom pods
1 12 oz Viognier white wine
1 oz Belle de Brillet pear liqueur
1 oz Thomas Henry Soda Water chilled
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a FLUTE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of pear wedge..

How to make:

  1. MUDDLE cardamom pods in base of stirring glass.
  2. Add wine and liqueur and stir with ice.
  3. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  4. TOP with soda and briefly stir.

Garnish:

  1. Garnish with pear wedge on rim.

Review:

Pear and cardamon sit brilliantly together, here with a splash of dry white wine and a hint of cognac, invigorated with soda. (It's even better made with champagne in place of soda!)
