Our comment:

Richly flavoured and lusciously bittersweet with rye whiskey, bitter porter and sour lemon juice balancing hazelnut liqueur and brown sugar.

History:

Created in 2013 by Andrea Montague from London, England to win the Difford's Guide Beer-tail Competition for London Cocktail Week 2013 held on Friday 9th August 2013 at Simon Difford’s Cabinet Room in London.

Named after De Beauvoir Town, an area of north London boundaried by Kingsland Road to the east, Southgate Road to the west, the Regent's Canal in the south and Tottenham Road to the north. The cockney name for the area, Beaverstown, is also the name of the brewery in Hackney whose Smog Rocket porter Andrea used in her winning cocktail.
