A brilliant spritz. Good on you for your inspiration in creating it. I grew up with a lot of Greek immigrants from the island of Kastellorizo. They were fishermen and pretty much had the local industry sewn up. But my point, and it's a geographical one, is that for a Chian (as the people from Chios, where mastiha spirit is made, are known), as for a Kastellorizan, you could not be a Greek born more distant from the Ionian Sea. But perhaps 'cocktailic' license should be allowed to prevail here.
