Serve in a Cup

Ingredients:
²⁄₃ oz	Heering Cherry Liqueur
1 ¹⁄₃ oz	Speyside single malt Scotch whisky
1 dried	Cinnamon stick
¹⁄₃ oz	Boiling water

Garnish: Orange zest twist

How to make:

POUR all ingredients into teapot. Add all ingredients except hot water into a teapot. Allow to rest for a while before serving.

I'm pretty unclear on the directions for this drink. The concept of a Scotch and Heering toddy sounds great, but it seems like there might be a typo in the directions. Also, 10 ml of hot water seems like not enough for a toddy-style drink. Any clarification?

It's a very old drink from Cherry Heering. I've amended method but I need to make, fix recipe and add rating and review etc. Even pic needs replacing! Not sure how it found its way onto the site in its present state! Many thanks for bringing to my attention.
