Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
1 oz Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. cognac
12 oz Blended Scotch whisky
12 oz Lillet-style Rouge light quinquina
14 oz Joseph Cartron Double Crème de Cassis de Bourgogne
1 dash Peychaud's or other Creole-style bitters

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Review:

Based on cognac with half as much scotch, this boozy cocktail is made special by aromatised wine and rich crème de cassis.
