History:

Norwegian Bacardí Legacy 2015 winning cocktail created by Mathias Bengt Alsenalissa at Brooms & Hatchets in Oslo.

I wanted to make a drink that is very easy to reproduce around the world and equally easy to like; I also wanted to make something inspired by the rich history of Bacardí.

With all the challenges and new chapters Bacardí has faced, the expression 'turning over a new leaf' fits very well. One of the latest 'new leaves' for Bacardí is their acquisition of 'St Germain', which is why I wanted to incorporate it into my drink. Oregano leaves tie it all together; name, drink, history and creativity: Turning Leaves.

Pretty darn superb. I used Captain Morgan white rum, but I know Carta Blanca's character would bring this to another level (a Rhum Agricole in this might send me to the heavens). Like the other commenters, I used fresh oregano grown at home. No better way to go... Uhhh, so good. (6 Mar 2023, 11:54a)

We used oregano from the garden- Really enjoyed the herb infusion and the elderflower liqueur complimented it well.I found it to be quite potent.

I had a massive oregano plant taking over my kitchen so decided to make this. It's delicious. Refreshing and easy to make. Perfect hot day cocktail.
