Ingredients:
1 13 fl oz Lustau Jarana Fino Sherry chilled
1 fl oz Elderflower liqueur
16 fl oz BarSol Mosto Verde Italia Pisco
13 fl oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1 dash Orange Bitters by Angostura
2 drop Saline solution (20g sea salt to 80g water) or merest pinch of s optional
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.

How to make:

  1. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  2. STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish:

  1. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Review:

Some will notice the lemon juice in this cocktail and reach for the shaker rather than the stirring glass, but this recipe is balanced towards stirring, producing an aperitivo which balances rich floral elderflower, bone dry sherry and sour lemon. Pisco adds an aromatic garnish.
