| 1⁄4 fl oz | Strucchi Dry Vermouth chilled |
| 1⁄3 fl oz | Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water, 65.0°Brix) |
| 2⁄3 fl oz | Strawberry purée |
| 2 grind | Black pepper |

Grainy vodka-laced strawberry fruitiness with dry vermouth adding balance and depth of flavour. Although almost imperceptible, it's the addition of black pepper spice that sets this fruity martini apart.
I tried using bianco vermouth in place of dry, and less sugar syrup, but this produced an inferior cocktail.
If using a sweetened strawberry purée, then reduce the sugar syrup. And if using fresh strawberries rather than strawberry purée, then muddle 5 small strawberries in the shaker before adding the other ingredients.
