Ingredients:
8 fresh Basil leaves
1 12 oz Irish whiskey
34 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
12 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
1 12 oz Fiol Extra Dry Prosecco
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Double old-fashioned glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of basil leaf.
  3. MUDDLE basil in base of shaker.
  4. Add next 3 ingredients (all but sparkling wine) and SHAKE with ice.
  5. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  6. TOP with prosecco and briefly stir.
  7. Garnish with basil leaf.

Perhaps a slightly less characterful kissing cousin of the Gin Basil Smash. Nonetheless, very refreshing with the bubbles included.
