My wife loved this, but I thought it was terrible. Although I'm a big fan of Strega, the banana seems to really draw out the anise notes here, which I don't like.

Almost every time I try a vodka cocktail, I think “this would be so much better with a different base spirit.” In this case, Pisco was calling to me, so I tried it again with Pisco instead of vodka and it is excellent!
