Serve in a Julep tin

Ingredients:
5 fresh Blackberries
2 oz Patrón Reposado tequila
1 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
23 oz Honey syrup (3 parts honey to 1 water by weight)
8 fresh Mint leaves
× 1 1 serving

Garnish: Blackberry & mint sprig bouquet. Serve with straws

How to make:

MUDDLE blackberries in base of shaker. Add other ingredients, SHAKE with ice and fine strain into cup/glass filled with crushed ice.

Deliciously tart and minty, though I feel that adding triple sec still as per margarita specs might bolster the flavor in a more meaningful way. Definitely worth trying again!

We liked this cocktail but the next time I would cut the Julep part and serve it without ice. The dilution by the ice is really watering the cocktail down.
