History

Lemmy Kilmister (1945 - 2015), front man of the British heavy metal band Motörhead, was known for drinking Jack or Beam and Coke so spawning the Lemmy, essentially a highball with bourbon, cola +/- bitters.

Review

Bourbon and cola with a splash of aromatic bitters. America's answer to Britain's G&T is a sight more rock 'n' roll – or even heavy metal. In contrast the G&T is more Chamber orchestra.

Yeah, just no. I used Maker's Mark, the recommended Bourbon by Difford's Guide, and it is a 2.5 star. I'm not impressed. Everything just melts through with nothing distinctive in any positive way.

Reminiscent of college - hard to make a combo of bourbon and cola taste bad. Dressed up a bit with bitters, and more careful attention to measurements. Super easy, and pretty much any bar has cola, bourbon and Ango.
