Serve in a Martini glass

Ingredients:
2 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
1 oz Orange juice (freshly squeezed)
12 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
14 oz Monin Grenadine Syrup
12 oz Chilled water omit if using wet ice
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Review:

This is one of those drinks that benefits from a little dilution to prevent the citrus and gin becoming too aggressive.

A higher proof gin really improves this cocktail. I used a Four Pillars at 46.5% and it was quite tasty.

Tried it a year ago. Nice, fruity orange.

Flavour is nice but a little weak. Perhaps I over-diluted.
