¹⁄₃ fl oz	Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
¹⁄₃ fl oz	Chilled water/mineral water (omit if using wet ice)

How to make

Serve in a Coupe glass

Method

Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
Prepare garnish of lime wedge on rim &/or elderflower sprig when in season.
SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Because I had no charcoal filtered rum, I tried to use 30ml of Havana Club 3 and 20 of vodka. It was rather flat, with less of the Daiquiri sourness coming through.

Delightful. Light and flavorful. I love St Germain, so I don't mind a sweeter cocktail, but a couple of dashes of lime bitters adds a splendid citrus bite to the drink.

This is just delicious! We had it the night before leaving for a beach vacation. One of our new favorites. Next time we will try cutting back on the St. Germain, we prefer less sweet cocktails.
