Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
3 whole Clove
1 13 oz Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. cognac
23 oz Mandarine Napoleon liqueur
16 oz Torabhaig Peated Single Malt Whisky
3 dash Chocolate bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist with a flamed clove.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Review:

Zesty mandarin orange and cognac with a hint of smoky peat and clove spice.

Maybe it would benefit to have some port or vermouth added. Overall I think it's a very interesting cocktail. Definitely benefits from a good stir. The main downside to it is that the chocolate bitters are a bit distracting and that it's a bit dry in what it's going for.

The drink has an amazing nose, but the chocolate bitters ruins the flavor profile for me. Would definitely make it again, minus the bitters.
