Luxardo Maraschino cherry

Sweet brandy meets dry cherry eau-de-vie in this serious vodka laced cocktail.

We have David Wondrich to thank for re-discovering this drink, believed to be the first vodka cocktail to appear in print in a 1911 book called 'Beverage Deluxe'. The drink itself is thought to originally come from the St. Charles Hotel in New Orleans, USA.
