Notes of tequila, orangey triple sec, bittersweet liqueur, blood orange and lime juice all sit in perfect kilter in this tasty riff on the classic Margarita
An amazingly good Margarita riff. Fantastic blood orange flavor throughout. Not bitter at all and the salt actually balances out this cocktail. Recommend this one.
What can I say - delicious. Just the right hint of Campari (I love a Negroni but I also am a huge fan of it here, where it's just a lingering note).
Also tried it with subbing 25% of the tequila for mezcal and that was great too.
Made with Cointreau Blood Orange. This recipe has become a seasonal favourite and a little annual ritual of buying the blood orange juice to use in it.
