In the interests of experimentation I made a Froupe with Courvoisier VSOP, red vermouth and licorice 43. Sorry no Benedictine or Bokers. Then to contrast, same ingredients and different ratios. The Addington is far superior with less red vermouth. This one is on my list!
The Froupe's big brother, with half the vermouth and bitters, and twice the Benedictine. The jury is out on which I prefer, and further playing with proportions is needed.
First cocktail I made with a newly acquired bottle of Biker's Bitters. I'm not certain how strong the flavor of the bitters are specifically, but this is an absolutely lovely cocktail. I will be making this again!
As a south-east London boy myself, I'll certainly be trying this sometime soon. It does, however, look suspiciously like the more traditional Froupe Cocktail...
