Spirit led - you think you're drinking cognac, then the subtle sweetness, herbs and bitterness slide in to give a satisfying richness. I like it a lot.

In the interests of experimentation I made a Froupe with Courvoisier VSOP, red vermouth and licorice 43. Sorry no Benedictine or Bokers. Then to contrast, same ingredients and different ratios. The Addington is far superior with less red vermouth. This one is on my list!

Although contemporary, very much in the vintage mode: strong, unapologetic flavours. Rich, fruity and spirituous.

Ingredients list says Dolin Rouge but Review says Vermouth di Torino (assume Cocchi)... not sure which is preferred here?

Looks like im having the same issue. Both vermouths are in my added ingredients.

I suspect only saying Dolin Rouge for you as you have this in Your Ingredients as your preferred Rooso vermouth.

The Froupe's big brother, with half the vermouth and bitters, and twice the Benedictine. The jury is out on which I prefer, and further playing with proportions is needed.

Much better than the Froupe. Better showcase for all the ingredients... The Boker's will stand out if you apply with a heavy hand.

First cocktail I made with a newly acquired bottle of Biker's Bitters. I'm not certain how strong the flavor of the bitters are specifically, but this is an absolutely lovely cocktail. I will be making this again!

Well spotted, the two cocktails are really only separated by the amount of vermouth. I've added a link to Froupe above. Thanks for pointing out.

As a south-east London boy myself, I'll certainly be trying this sometime soon. It does, however, look suspiciously like the more traditional Froupe Cocktail...

Love this - my favourite Harvard riff. It's a shame it doesn't show up when you search on Rosso Vermouth, though

Thanks for letting me know. This should now show when you search rosso vermouth.

Spiritous with just the right amount of sweetness. The lemon twist plays very nicely against the Benedictine (which does great work for such a small amount).
