I made this with Hendrick's Flora Adora because I thought it would play well with the Meletti and boy was I right. If you've ever wanted a Megroni riff to serve your guests on a summer's eve then this is the one. You get rose up front, which quickly goes into amaro, dry vermouth and finally Campari on the finish. I've had trouble finding cocktails where Flora Adora works well but this is certainly one of them!

Very nice. Found it a bit softer in flavour than some of the other Negroni cocktails. While I like some bitters, I do not like it overpowering. This was perfect.

Made mine with Amaro Nonino. Drier and a lot more delicate than a classic Negroni! I loved the pinkish colour. A very elegant cocktail

Made this as per recipe and it was much liked.

want to try the Cynar var mentioned in the comments, but really like it with the Meletti. Meletti is MUCH sweeter/lighter, and it kept the drink refreshing and more green/alpine herb profile.

I made this with Cynar. A bit intense for most, maybe, but being a bitter baron, I loved this. Excellent contrast and expression between the herbal elements and the sweet undertones. (13 Feb 2022, 12:51p)

I liked this very much. Made it with Ramazzotti, though, which I thought worked very well. Sadly, Meletti is not on offer in Sweden.

Dang that's good! I made mine with Lucano. Must get the Meletti. Look forward to to substituting other amari. Thank you Mr. Difford for posting this on your home page.

Yup, that's really good with Meletti. For those of y'all who like to try this with different amari, also consider Simon's 7:6:5 ratio MonteNegroni.

My pleasure.
