I 2nd everyone who said to use aged rum and skip the simple syrup…what a delicious drink, lots of layers of taste!

Great summer cocktail. Strong orange flavour along with the zing from the rum and bourbon. Used a Barbados 8 year rum to add more depth of flavour. Used half the sugar syrup as our oranges are tree ripened and very sweet.

This might be my favorite orange juice-fronted long drink. Also well with a medium-aged rum instead of the white, like Plantation 5 year.

I am suprised by diffords rating, I quite like this. One or two dashes of Angostura also improves that a lot
