Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
1 12 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
34 oz Oude genever
12 oz Americano bianco
14 oz Poire William eau-de-vie
1 dash Orange Bitters by Angostura
3 drop Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Just had this again. It is just as good as I remembered. Excellent evening sipper. Does have hints of cinnamon and nutmeg in the background. I do like mine to be super cold and let breathe.

I love this. Very spirit forward with the herbal hints from the gin and Genever. The eau-de-vie adds a surge of spirits with the light flavour of pear.
This is not for the casual drinker. With the multiple ingredients there is a strong alcohol taste. If that is not your thing, this may not be your cocktail. However, it is on my favourites.
