Reminiscent of a Last Word and inspired by a Missionary's Downfall.

Jason says, "the name of this drink is meant to evoke Donn Beach's wonderful Missionary's Downfall, which brings together lime and peach in a tiki context."

A tenuous link between this an a Missionary downfall. Looking at both recipes I'm confident we will prefer this spirit forward drink. I added a bit of extra peach liqueur to bring out that flavor 🍑

If you want a cocktail where the peach liqueur is not overwhelmed or overwhelming then this is it! Delicious stuff.

Great cocktail. I went back to the "original" lime quantity, maybe of the summer heat here today.

Having just acquired the mezcal and peach liqueur but then discovering when back home that I was out of limes, I'm somewhat ashamed to admit that I just forged ahead and made this with Rose's lime cordial in place of the lime juice.

It was still *very* delicious.

No shame on adapting to what you have on hand. I think Mr. D would agree.
