Serve in a Martini glass

Ingredients:
1 14 oz Absolut Wild Berri Vodka
34 oz Cointreau triple sec liqueur
1 oz Cranberry juice (sweetened)
12 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
2 drop Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of coin-sized orange zest twist (flamed).
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS flamed orange zest twist over cocktail, then use as garnish.

History:

Created in 1993 by Chuck Coggins at Marion's Continental Restaurant & Lounge, New York City, using the recently launched Absolut Kurant Vodka. Incidentally, Marion's opened in 1950 by fashion model Marion Nagy, who came to the States after seeking asylum while swimming for Hungary in the Paris Peace Games after WWII.

I made this with an English vodka that is also the same colour as a blackcurrant, so with that in mind, perhaps a Metropolitan Line?

Tastes so good though. Ribena for grownups!!!
