Review:

A tiki-inspired riff on the classic Adonis with chocolate orange liqueur. (If a touch too rich for your palate, then split the sherry to equal parts fino and amontillado sherries.)

History:

Adapted from a recipe created in 2015 by Jeff "Beachbum" Berry at his Latitude 29 bar in New Orleans, USA. Named in tribute to David Wondrich, reputedly the first person to request a sherry cocktail at Latitude 29. Incidentally, "USS," meaning "United States Ship," is used as a prefix to the name of a ship to identify it as being a commissioned ship of the United States Navy.
