¹⁄₄ fl oz	Luxardo Maraschino liqueur

2 fl oz	Brut champagne/sparkling wine (chilled)

How to make

Prepare

Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
Prepare garnish of coin-sized orange zest twist (flamed).

Method

SHAKE first 4 ingredients with ice.
STRAIN into chilled glass.
TOP with sparkling wine.

Garnish

EXPRESS flamed orange zest twist over cocktail, then use as garnish.

Very elegant. But we pull the bubbly back to 40ml. To us, too much sparkling flattens and oppresses complexity.

Hello Calvin. We are downunder and, since it is Summer where we are, enjoying a BBQ lunch with family and friends. The cocktail menu is the Ritz, Curtain Call and Old Cuban. So far, Curtain Call is the favourite. But we'll see, the afternoon is but young. Cheers.

Very sophisticated taste. Made this to celebrate our wedding anniversary and also because I worked briefly at the Ritz Paris and I can tell you this is very Ritz!
