Serve in a Toddy glass

Ingredients:
2 dried Clove
2 oz Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. cognac
3 oz Apple juice/apple cider (cloudy & unsweetened)
Float Single cream/half-and-half
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

MUDDLE cloves in base of shaker. Add cognac and apple juice. SHAKE without ice and fine strain into glass. WARM in microwave then FLOAT double cream over drink.

Man, am I bad at floating cream. The drink is not bad, but no matter how carefully I pour the single cream over the back of that spoon, I get cream throughout the drink.

The trick is to get some air in the cream by whipping, or I simply shake in a closed container.
