Ingredients:
2 oz Ketel One Citroen Vodka
12 oz Hayman's Sloe Gin
12 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
13 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
3 drop Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water) optional
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

30ml lime juice is too much imo

Agreed. I've halved the original lime and cut the sugar by a third. The old recipe dates back to 2001, as does the pre-digital photography image. I'll also ensure this is rephotographed ASAP.

This is an okay drink, albeit not on the level of Greenfiled’s and Sedaka’s song, and definitely not as tasty as Connie Francis’ performance: “Stupid Cupid, stop pickin’ on me!”.
