Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
1 oz Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. cognac
12 oz Calvados / apple brandy / straight applejack
12 oz Cointreau triple sec liqueur
14 oz Green Chartreuse (or alternative herbal liqueur)
14 oz Pineapple juice
12 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
14 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Variant:

Omit calvados and replace with an extra half shot cognac. An adaptation demonstrated by Audrey at a Cognac Summit on 22 January 2008.

Really nice! Delicately balanced and subtle flavour combinations coming through. Love to touch of chartreuse in this.
